“Michael and I cannot express how much comfort, value, security, and love Ria brought into our home right as we welcomed our baby girl, Brielle.
I am a first-time mom, and my husband has 2 older sons, so as we were preparing for our first baby together, we decided bringing in someone with years of experience to help guide us was very important.
Ria not only allowed for us to get our much-needed sleep during the newborn months, but she was also a constant source of knowledge and guidance. She took care of household chores relating to Brielle (bottle washing, freezing breast milk, laundry, etc.) which allowed Michael and I to focus our time and energy elsewhere.
When Brielle shifted to waking up only once a night, Ria made sure to let me know when she was waking up so I could pump and stay on Brielle’s schedule. Ria came into our house night one and set us up for success that we are still feeling over a year and a half later. Throughout our three months of overnight help with Ria, Ria came many times during the day or evening to show us how to bathe Brielle, get into a good nighttime routine, how to best structure our early days balancing feeds, naps and play time, and how to help Brielle sleep comfortably on her own.
Even after Ria moved on to her next baby, she was still a source for me to reach out to and assisted with me weaning to pump and how to best introduce solids to Brielle. We consider ourselves so lucky to have found our Auntie Riri!
